BASONOVA invests in the future of biblical archaeology by funding scholarships for students to participate in overseas excavations.
During the summer of 2019 BASONOVA provided funds that permitted students to excavate at four sites in Israel: Tel Kabri, Tel Akko, Tel Keifan, Megiddo. We also supported the excavation at the Precinct of Mut in Luxor, Egypt. Our aim is to support these budding scholars and we ask for your support to accomplish this goal.
Excess annual proceeds from BASONOVA’s dues and our luncheon and lecture series are invested in scholarships. We encourage our members to make scholarship contributions through BASONOVA, so our resources can be pooled to make an investment in the next generation of biblical archaeology.
